Red 2021 Ram 1500 truck towing a heavy load of ATVs on a dirt road.

6 Outstanding Features of the 2021 RAM 1500

When considering the many pickup truck options available today, the Ram 1500 is a legendary one that has built a reputation on dependability and versatility. The 2021 model is designed to take you anywhere with its powerful engine performance, awe-inspiring towing capacity, and tech-based safety features. With so much to offer both inside and out, here are six outstanding features that help explain why the 2021 Ram 1500 has become so popular. 1. A Towing Capacity Beyond Comparison As one of the best in its class for towing, the Ram can haul up to 12,750 pounds when equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine. This is an almost unheard-of level of towing power for a commercial vehicle, and it means you'll have no problem hauling a camper, boat, or trailer. more 2. Drag-Lowering Suspension for Efficiency The Active Level Four Corner Air Suspension System, just as it sounds, lowers the suspension on all four sides of the vehicle when driving at highway speeds. This improves drag for better fuel efficiency and performance. Plus, it can also be used at slower speeds when a lower height may be needed, such as when entering into tight spaces or hooking a trailer up to the rear of the vehicle. 3. Performance With Up to 702 Horsepower With a wide range of engines to choose from, the Ram 1500 offers performance for every lifestyle or line of work. There's a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, a 3.0 EcoDiesel V6, and two available Hemi V8 choices as well. At the higher end of these choices is a 6.2-liter Hemi V8 that churns out an amazing 702 horsepower. 4. Automatic Detection of Hidden Vehicles Within the tail lamps, there are wide-band radar sensors. These are part of the Blind Spot Monitoring System, which can detect blind spots behind your vehicle. Thanks to a feature known as Rear Cross Path Detection, these sensors can also alert you to any objects you may be approaching when reversing to avoid collisions or unforeseen objects in your path. 5. Fuel-Saving Technology for Long Trips One feature you're sure to love on long drives is the eTorque Mild Hybrid Technology System. This feature will save you money on fuel and will also improve the efficiency of your engine on long hauls, so it both runs smoother and more quietly. 6. A Trailer Light Health Monitoring System The available Trailer Light Check feature from within the dash can alert you if any of the trailer lights on the back of your trailer are not working correctly. This means less risk of rear-end accidents or getting pulled over for faulty lights that might otherwise be unaware of. Powerful engine output, astounding towing capacity, and advanced safety monitoring all make the 2021 edition of the Ram 1500 an obvious choice for those who are looking for a quality truck. Come to Randy Wise Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at our Durand, Michigan location today. We have plenty of these pickups in our inventory, and we can fit one to your needs with all the latest options available. Image via ramtrucks.com.
